Tupac Shakur was honored with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which was unveiled on Wednesday in Los Angeles. His younger half-sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, delivered an emotional speech during the event attended by hundreds of fans and fellow musicians such as YG.
Tupac's star, located near Amoeba Music on Hollywood Boulevard, is the only posthumous one given out by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce each year. Shakur was shot and killed in Las Vegas in 1996 at the age of 25. His estate has approved the release of several posthumous albums and authorized biography book.
