Nurse Lucy Letby is accused of attacking a baby while the mother was on a school run and then trying to kill others after their parents had left the ward. She is accused of "sabotaging" the care of nine babies on the neonatal ward at Countess of Chester Hospital in the UK.
One child, who Letby allegedly attacked but did not manage to kill while the mother was out, was killed on the fourth attempt a few weeks later. Letby is further accused of fatally attacking six other babies and attempting to kill ten more between 2015 and 2016. Letby denies all 22 charges.
