Two women have shared their painful experiences of mistaking superglue for eye drops and sealing their eyes shut. Jennifer Eversole accidentally poured the glue into her left eye after picking up the bottle from her dresser, which she had put next to her drops after using it on her daughter's nails.
She experienced intense burning and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors cleared the superglue and treated her eye. Eversole suffered from blurry vision but eventually made a full recovery. Similarly, Lyd, 22, also detailed a similar incident on TikTok, which required doctors to pick at the glue and eventually pry her eye open.
